I recently sat down with actor and comedian Andrew Pifko, a Canadian talent whose career spans film, television, theatre, and voice work. Known globally for his Stella Artois Super Bowl commercial with Sarah Jessica Parker and Jeff Bridges, Andrew has built a diverse body of work, seamlessly moving between comedy, drama, and everything in between.

Currently, Andrew stars in the acclaimed drama Daddy Issues, premiering April 19th across North America and available on iTunes. He plays Simon Craw, the secret sugar daddy whose clandestine relationship disrupts the life of young artist Maya (Madison Lawlor). Andrew’s performance earned him a Best Lead Actor nomination at the Nice International Film Festival in France and a win at the NoVa Film Festival in Virginia.

On television, Andrew will be seen as a swashbuckling, Robin Hood-esque bandit on BYUtv’s Dwight In Shining Armor, and his voice work continues as a series regular on Netflix’s Carmen Sandiego alongside Gina Rodriguez. He also recently wrapped Greek Gods, a comedy with Mel Brooks exploring contemporary issues through satire.

A versatile stage performer, Andrew shines in live productions including Second City Hollywood’s ‘More Guns: The NRA Musical’ and music/rap improv groups like Kaboombox and Robot Teammate and the Accidental Party. His theatre credits also include In the Next RoomMacbeth (as Banquo), Romeo & Juliet (Mercutio), and more — showcasing his classical chops alongside his comedic brilliance.

A modern-day renaissance man, Andrew holds an Honors degree in Zoology and Microbiology from the University of Toronto, studied at LAMDA in the UK, and has taught English abroad in Japan and Israel. He’s also a certified scuba diver, a polyglot fluent in multiple languages, and a motorcycle enthusiast who recently completed a two-year renovation of a 1929 Hollywood Hills home.

In our conversation, Andrew reflects on his journey through Hollywood, the art of balancing comedy and drama, and his expansive creative life. From big-screen action and suspense to stage musicals and improv, Andrew Pifko proves he is as versatile as he is engaging.

Sit back and enjoy this lively and insightful discussion with Andrew Pifko — a true jack-of-all-trades in the world of film, TV, and theatre 🎭✨
