Born in El Salvador, Armida and her family fled the country’s civil war when she was just eight years old, settling in Sacramento, California. From humble beginnings, she cultivated a love for the arts early on, participating in free school workshops in dance, choir, and acting. Her early hustle — juggling jobs as a barista, waitress, makeup artist, and intern — helped her gain industry insights and fueled her determination to pursue acting professionally.

Armida’s journey in Hollywood includes serving as Salma Hayek’s body double on How to Be a Latin Lover, appearing in campaigns for Nike, Proactiv, Burger King, HP Computers, Modelo, Subaru, and Ulta Beauty, and now stepping into more substantial acting roles in film and television.
