Actor Jesse Kove has built an impressive career in film and television, blending talent, charm, and a love for storytelling. Growing up immersed in the entertainment world, Jesse performed skits for his family and visited film sets with his father, Martin Kove (the iconic John Kreese from Karate Kid/Cobra Kai), igniting his passion for acting at an early age.

Jesse has delivered notable performances, including starring alongside Joseph Fiennes in Wings of Eagles, an unofficial sequel to Chariots of Fire, filmed in China and chronicling the incredible story of Eric Liddell. More recently, Netflix brought Jesse to a whole new fan base, and fans have seen him in Cobra Kai as David, a high school jock who bullies the younger Kreese—ironically stepping into the role of the bully rather than the younger version of his father’s legendary character.

In our conversation, Jesse shares his love for the show, the nostalgia of the Karate Kid universe, and the fun behind-the-scenes moments. He also reveals which Muppet he would be, giving a playful nod to his love of cookies!

Sit back and enjoy Jesse Kove’s mix of insight, humor, and heartfelt reflection on his career and Cobra Kai.
