I had the pleasure of chatting with Scott Kyle, the talented Scottish actor known for his role as Ross in Outlander, Clancy in The Angels’ Share, and portraying real-life soldier Corporal Stu Pearson in Kilo Two Bravo. With an extensive career spanning theatre and screen, Scott brings intensity, authenticity, and heart to every performance.

Scott is deeply committed to his roots in theatre and currently serves as the artistic director of the Bathgate Regal Theatre in Scotland, where he inspires local talent of all ages to explore and express themselves through the performing arts. He shared his philosophy about connecting with fans: “Without fans there would be no show, and of course if people are interested in me, then I’m interested in them. If you walked into my theatre and I was at the door, I’d say hello—it’s the same thing.”

In our conversation, Scott reflects on his approach to acting, his experiences portraying soldiers and complex characters, and the importance of giving back to the theatre community. Whether on screen or stage, Scott Kyle is an actor and leader whose passion and authenticity continue to make a mark.
